Rafferty is a bartender at Joe's bar, having survived both the Fall of the Twelve Colonies and the Second Exodus.
Following Gaeta's Mutiny circa 4 ACH (2003BYR), he tends the bar when Kara "Starbuck" Thrace and Galen Tyrol talk about Ellen Tigh's return (TRS: "Deadlock"). Sometime later, he is present when Thrace is introduced to "Slick," who plays the beaten, out-of-tune piano at the bar (TRS: "Someone to Watch Over Me").
