Bonnington is a Marine aboard Galactica.

Bonnington is part of the fire team that rescues Captain Lee "Apollo" Adama during the early stages of a Cylon Centurion boarding action.

He later gives up his sidearm to Billy, President Roslin's aide, and accompanies Corporal Venner, Roslin, and Billy Keikeya to sickbay ^{(TRS: "Valley of Darkness")}.
