Commander Borton is the commanding officer in the Caprican trade fleet.

His vessel is attacked by Sagittarons three months after the incident at Benedict Trade Station, and is destroyed with all hands aboard. His death, as well as those of his crew, ignites the Caprica-Sagittaron Conflict (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War #1)}).
