Kellan Brody is the host of the Caprican program called The Spotlight, which aired on channel Caprica 5, who interviews Gaius Baltar a few days before the Cylon Holocaust.

She later is on-hand to report the Cylon attack against the Twelve Colonies. The stricken Baltar watches Brody and a reporter from Channel 7 News in Caprica City, using a dual viewscreen, when a nuclear device detonates over Caprica City.

Brody appears immediately startled just as the signal from her station disappears, suggesting that Brody and everything around her are quickly vaporized by the blast. The reporter on Baltar's second receiver is swept away seconds later by the shock wave of that same detonation ^{(TRS: "Miniseries")}.

Notes

In an early version of the Miniseries script (PDF), this reporter character was originally Gaius Baltar's love interest who later revealed herself as the Cylon infiltrator Number Six.
