The Imperious Leader is the supreme commander of the Cylon Empire.
He masterminds a plan to destroy Galactica by implanting Captain Heffren with a mind-controlling impulse microvator. The plan is ultimately foiled when the Colonials turn the device against his own assault ship ((Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 1)).[1]
The Leader orders the capture of the transport Orestes, intending to use its crew and child passengers as leverage to force the surrender of the Fleet. This plan is thwarted when Apollo convinces the Cylons that the ship is contaminated with a plague, causing the Leader to panic and barricade himself in his quarters ((Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 3)).[2]
