Brace is a member of the Nationalist Security force on Terra.

After Brenda Maxwell picks up Apollo, who appears to Terrans as the missing Colonel Charlie Watts by John, and brings him back to her residence, she calls Brace. Unbeknownst to her, he is ordered by President Arends' assistant, Moore, to imprison anyone who talks to, or knows of, Watts' return to Terra—essentially Brenda and her father, General Maxwell, along with the General's aide, Stone ^{(TOS: "Experiment in Terra")}.
