Lieutenant Boomer is a Lieutenant and a veteran Viper pilot in the Colonial Fleet aboard battlestar Galactica.

He volunteers to stay behind to guard the crippled Freighter Eighteen, where he single-handedly engages a Cylon attack force before being reinforced by Apollo and Starbuck (ComicsLook-In Magazine: Storyline 1).[1]

While pursuing Apollo to the planet Thar, Boomer witnesses his friend's Viper vanish. Later, believing Starbuck has been shot down by a mysterious alien ship, he commences an attack on the vessel, which is revealed to be an illusion. This act of aggression causes the pacifist Tharians to deem the Colonials too violent to be welcomed to their world (ComicsLook-In Magazine: Storyline 2).[2]

Boomer leads a rescue mission to the planet Zaroak after contact is lost with Apollo's team. With Boxey as a stowaway, he rescues a Zaroakian soldier and leads the party into the mines to join the fight and help his friends escape (ComicsLook-In Magazine: Storyline 4).[3]
