Jason Melton is the "Alpha male" prisoner on Luna Three upon Tom Zarek's arrival.

Melton attempts to instill fear in Zarek by having him assaulted after their meeting. However, Zarek recruits Nixon Kinlow (the man who assassinated Karen Zarek on Sagittaron) to kill him, which comes to pass as Kinlow cuts Melton's throat in the prison's showers (Battlestar Galactica: Zarek 3).
