Nixon Kinlow is a professional gun-for-hire who is recruited by the Labor Ministry to kill Karen Zarek of the Citizens for Sagittaron Labor Reform.

After successfully assassinating the already-terminal Zarek in Sagittaron City (ComicsBattlestar Galactica: Zarek #1), the Labor Ministry reneges on their deal with Kinlow and sends him off to Luna Three. Approximately 13 years prior to the Fall of the Colonies, Zarek discovers Kinlow working at the mining camp as well.

Kinlow is forced to do Zarek's bidding, which involves killing off Jason Melton. After that deed is done, Zarek shoots him in the head to satisfy his revenge (ComicsBattlestar Galactica: Zarek #3).
