Tamara Adama (or Adams) is the sister of William Adama and the daughter of Joseph and Evelyn Adama.
Tamara, together with her mother, dies in a suicide bombing. Her father bonds with Daniel Graystone, a wealthy computer engineer whose daughter, Zoe, was killed in the same bombing. Joseph reluctantly agrees to help Daniel recreate robotic versions of their daughters by stealing technology from Tomas Vergis, a Tauron developer, but he is eventually appalled by the Cylon version of Tamara and wants to repent his actions[2].
Notes
- In the Re-imagined Series episode "Flesh and Bone", Leoben Conoy tells Laura Roslin that "Adama is a Cylon." A trait of Conoy's model, Number Two, is their ability to weave truth, half-truths and lies to confuse humans. While the Adama family has a connection to the Cylons with Tamara, it seems more likely that Conoy is simply lying. Moreover, it is doubtful that the writers had developed part of the Caprica backstory at that time.
