Additional Information | |||
The Yellow-hulled Vessel[1] was a transport ship in the Twelve Colonies of Kobol.
At least two survived the initial attacks, but one was left behind to be destroyed by the Cylons. The FTL-capable one was seen throughout the Fleet, orbiting with Galactica (Act of Contrition), or the Gemenon Traveller (Flesh and Bone).
A second FTL-capable vessel was seen in the fleet (Six Degrees of Separation).
One over the vessels was also seen orbiting Cloud 9 when Gina Inviere's nuclear bomb destroyed the luxury liner and three surrounding vessels, including the vessel itself (Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II).
Behind the Scenes[edit]
The ship did make a reappearance in "The Son Also Rises" as Hotdog checks in with the LSO two weeks after Starbuck's death. This may be a continuity error as it has been known for footage of the Fleet can be reused.
During the zoom towards the fleet at the beginning of Six Degrees of Separation and away from the end confirms that there were two yellow-hulled vessels in the fleet. It also showed at least five Astral Queen-type transports, seven Mining Ships and at least five Colonial Movers heavy freighters.
