Additional Information

Kimba Huta is a freighter in the Fleet circa 1 ACH (2000BYR), which contains cold storage units of the last of the known Colonial meat supply outside of the Twelve Colonies.

After Laura Roslin's escape from Galactica, Tom Zarek hides her and her co-conspirators aboard Kimba Huta while covertly making their way toward Astral Queen (TRS: "Resistance", "The Farm"). It while in one of the cold storage compartments that Lee "Apollo" Adama and Roslin make tapes of their plight to be released throughout the Fleet, which leads the Fleet's first definitive fracture (TRS: "The Farm").

After being reunited with the Fleet at Kobol, the ship later makes it to New Caprica where its passengers and crew vote in the Presidential election (TRS: "Home, Part I", "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II")

The ship's meat stores are extinguished in the Second Exodus, as the Fleet switches over to algae-based foodstuffs (TRS: "The Eye of Jupiter", "Rapture").
