Additional Information

The Cylon Resurrection Hub is a space-based installation, the core of the Cylon nation, which coordinates the resurrection process among all of the Cylons' Resurrection Ships and other downloading facilities. Unlike the actual downloading process, the functions of the Resurrection Hub appear to have an indefinite range, and the Hub itself is irreplaceable. The Hub periodically jumps to a new location in order to prevent its discovery and relays its new location to the Cylon fleets via the Hybrids only after completing an FTL jump. The Resurrection Hub is also where boxed Cylon consciousnesses are stored.

At the start of the Cylon Civil War, Natalie plans to unbox the Number Three, D'Anna Biers, in the hopes of finding the Final Five among the humans (The Ties That Bind). When Demetrius returns with the renegade basestar, Natalie offers Admiral William Adama and President Laura Roslin the chance to destroy the Hub in return for their help unboxing Biers. Before the plan is carried out, however, Natalie is shot by Sharon Agathon and the basestar jumps away when the Roslin, determined to get some answers about her visions, has the Hybrid reconnected (Guess What's Coming To Dinner).

A Raptor soon discovers that the Hub has disappeared from its last known location. Another Raptor from the missing rebel basestar jumps in, severely damaged and containing a dead pilot. Using the jump coordinates recovered from that Raptor, a force recon encounters battle wreckage with Colonial Vipers among debris which is believed to include the Resurrection Hub. Colonel Saul Tigh believes the rebel baseship is also destroyed, but Admiral Adama is convinced that it survives, and he stays behind in a sole Raptor to wait for the baseship'a return while the fleet jumps away (Sine Qua Non).

The Resurrection Hub is eventually shown to have been destroyed by a salvo of nuclear warheads, along with its baseship escorts in a massive battle where the Vipers, pulled secretly into battle by the rebel's Heavy Raiders, manage to take out its FTL drive, stranding it where they found it. The rebel baseship fights off the two enemy baseships while Karl Agathon and a Number Eight boarded the Hub to get the unboxed D'Anna. Afterwords all of the Vipers fire two nuclear warheads each at the Hub destroying it and at least one of the two nearby basestars (The Hub).
