Caesar is the Graystone family's dog. He was allowed in Daniel's lab and appeared to sense that there was a sentience in the U-87 robot (The Imperfections of Memory).

Caesar can be seen clearly in the Pilot - in Greystone's Living Room just after Daniel kicks Lacey Rand out and revokes her security clearance. [1]

- "Caesar" is a Latin word meaning "head of hair," although it later becomes synonymous to Julius Caesar.
