During the Fall of the Colonies, Gerard serves under Admiral Ben Tanner during a ground battle with the Cylons on Caprica (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War 1).

Along with the entire militia and its commander, Gerard is slain by Centurion's lead by Isak (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War 4).
