Eliza Tanner is the wife of Tanner Robogenics' John Tanner, and mother of Benjmain, Greg, Melissa, and Tim.

Tanner is highly protective of Benjamin, particularly following the prelude to the Caprica-Sagittaron Conflict (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War #1).

Tanner is affected by the conflict and outlives various other family members, including Tim and Gilbert Tanner (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War #2).
