'''Alexa Flores''' is the leader of [[Twilight Command]].
'''Gerard''' is a Colonel in the {{alt|Colonial Fleet|RDM}}.

Having grown up in poverty and without a family, Flores joins the [[Colonial Marine Corps]] and found a family there (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 3]]'').
During the {{alt|Fall of the Colonies}}, Gerard serves under Admiral [[Ben Tanner]] during a ground battle with the {{alt|Cylons|RDM}} on {{alt|Caprica|RDM}} (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War 1]]'').

Prior to the [[Fall of the Twelve Colonies|Fall]], Flores is stationed just outside of [[Caprica City]]. With a decorated service history under her belt in the Colonial Marine Corps, she rises to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned as the leader of the squad known as Twilight Command.
Along with the entire militia and its commander, Gerard is slain by {{alt|Centurion|RDM}}'s lead by [[Isak]] (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War 4]]'').

Only one other from her squad survived the Fall, and she made it to [[The Fleet (RDM)|The Fleet]]. Twenty-two days before the discovery of [[New Caprica]], Flores and her newly reconstituted Twilight Command attempt to steal a [[Raptor]] from ''[[Galactica (RDM alternate)|Galactica]]''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> hangar bay, only to be thwarted by Admiral [[William Adama (alternate)|William Adama]] and Captain [[Kara Thrace (alternate)|Kara Thrace]].
{{Characters (Comics)|series=cw}}

Adama spares Flores and her compatriots, particularly on the merit of her service record, and the belief that she could overcome her own falsely placed blame and shortcomings. However, she did not see eye-to-eye with [[William Adama (alternate)|William Adama]]'s approach to keeping the survivors alive with "false hope," as she believes that the war was lost and all that remains is survival (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 2]]''). Adama takes her under his wing and, through unorthodox means (namely via the sport of boxing), instills into her that loss is a part of life, but it's how they move on that is important (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 3]]'').

After the election of [[Gaius Baltar (alternate)|Gaius Baltar]] as president, Adama releases her at the request of those under her command. Her release is on the condition that she lead and protect them, which she accepts (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 5]]'').

Along with the others in her reconstituted Twilight Command, she settles on [[New Caprica]] and is trapped there upon the arrival of the [[Cylons (RDM alternate)|Cylons]] one year later. Surviving in the forested outskirts of [[New Caprica City]], Flores leads raids against the Cylons for supplies (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 1]]'').

Following the 102nd day of Cylon occupation, [[Galen Tyrol (alternate)|Galen Tyrol]] and [[Samuel Anders (alternate)|Samuel Anders]] seek her out at [[Saul Tigh (alternate)|Saul Tigh]]'s behest. She informs him that they will be striking the Cylon factory on New Caprica in three days (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 1]]'', ''[[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 2]]'').

After [[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 4|acquiring the explosives needed]] to destroy Cavil's Centurion factory (using information [[Deacon]] uncovers before its capture by [[John Cavil (alternate)|John Cavil]]), her team attacks while she plants explosives around the exterior of the building.

Upon entering the building, she helps free Deacon but is fatally wounded by Cavil. Deacon kills Cavil before he can execute Flores, and she is able to complete her mission and save her team while destroying the factory, the Centurions, and herself in the process (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 5]]'').
