Countess Sephoni of Scorpion is a well-renown psionic.

In 7348, she travels aboard the diplomatic ship Taurella after its escape from the besieged Twelve Colonies of Man, and briefly joins Adama's rag-tag, fugitive fleet. The ship, however, is unable to keep up and is lost within the first yahren.

Unbeknownst to the Fleet, Taurella and its crew, along with the Countess' court, survive alone for the next ten yahrens. Using her psionic abilities, she guides Captain Rekort and his crew to follow in the Fleet's footsteps, but never fully able to rejoin the Fleet until Xam divines the coordinates to Taurella in 7358 (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica: Death of Apollo #1)}—^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica: Death of Apollo #2)}).
