Sergeant Vickers is a Colonial Warrior who is a member of Galactica's gunnery crews, and is noted as having held the "rear guard at the battle of Caprica." His expertise leads to his assignment to Apollo's Arcta expedition.
When making final preparations aboard shuttle UIY 1138, Thane attacks Vickers with a hand mine, temporarily paralyzing him in the process.
Vickers suffers injuries during the shuttle crash, notably a broken left arm. As with the other members of the expedition, he is later rescued by the Thetas from Deathpoint Plateau, who shelter and treat him (TOS: "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I").
He survives the mission and speaks to Croft and a Planner before the Colonials depart (TOS: "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part II").
Notes
- Vickers can be identified as the man whose hair is parted to one side, and is introduced by Adama in a deleted scene along with a highlight of his accomplishment.
- According to the list of people selected for the Arcta expedition, Vickers is the Team Leader for Gun Crew Alpha in Weapons Bay 12 on Galactica. The rank noted in this entry is taken from this paper.
