"Sweet Eight" is a moniker for one of Number Eight copies first encountered by Felix Gaeta circa 2 ACH (2001BYR) on New Caprica during the Cylon occupation.

During Gaeta's time on planet in the governmental structure of the occupation, he provided a list of names to this Eight, with whom he had sexual congress. Gaius Baltar was not only aware of this, but also of the fact that he knew that the names Gaeta provided lead to their deaths by the occupation authority (TRS: "Taking a Break From All Your Worries" and "The Face of the Enemy, Episode 9").

After the Second Exodus, Gaeta later encounters her 15 months later, circa 3 ACH (2002BYR), as the Eight is now part of the separatist group from the rebel basestar. She is one of two copies, the other being a fellow sister who is a Cylon pilot dubbed "Hard Eight," who board Raptor 718 to Zephyr following the discovering the Thirteenth Colony (TRS: "Revelations" and "The Face of the Enemy, Episode 1").

During a freak FTL drive corruption that lead to Jumping to the wrong standby coordinates, Sweet Eight begins reintroducing herself to Gaeta, while attempting to kill off various crew aboard the wayward Raptor through indirect ways, beginning with her own sister and with Deckhand Brooks, and ending with killing the Raptor crew, "Easy" Esrin and Jay "Shark" Finnegan, by slicing their throats while Gaeta slept to conserve oxygen (TRS: "The Face of the Enemy, Episode 3" and "The Face of the Enemy, Episode 7").
