Viper 2220NC is one of the Viper Mk. IIs flown by Captain Lee Adama during search and rescue operations for Lieutenant Kara Thrace after Thrace disappears following an engagement with eight Cylon Raiders. 2220NC is temporarily grounded for repairs during the search after it's right roll thruster fails to fire on landing (You Can't Go Home Again).
At the time of the investigation into the suicide bombing by a Cylon, Captain Adama is 2220's assigned pilot (Litmus).
Adama pilots 2220 during the attack on a Cylon mining outpost (The Hand of God).
