Sire Geller is a member of the Council of Twelve following the exodus from the Colonies.

His tenure occurs during the encounter of non-Colonial humans, Terrans, aboard Lunar Avion. Following their recovery, he leads the Council members in protesting Adama's decision regarding the reanimation of Michael, Sarah, and their children from Terra. A very influential and vociferous member, he is subsequently publicly embarrassed for the "loss" of the Terrans' ship.

Geller demonstrates a distaste of both Lieutenant Starbuck and Captain Apollo, likely due to their loyalty to Adama (TOS: "Greetings From Earth").

Notes

  • Geller's in-universe absence in "Baltar's Escape," the subsequent episode, is unexplained. The actual reason may have more to do with the scheduling of actor Murray Matheson, as an earlier version of the script for "Baltar's Escape" features Geller; instead, the newly created Sire Domra takes his place in the aired episode.
  • Murray Matheson previously voiced Specter in "The Young Lords," a role that was uncredited.
