Doctor Amorak is a worker at the Ministry of Defense who is given the directorship of the Command Navigation Program project.

Through Amorak, Caprica-Six meets Gaius Baltar at a Pyramid game on Caprica. As a result of the meeting, Caprica-Six convinces D'Anna Biers and a Number Eight to abduct Amorak in order to ensure Baltar's promotion as the CNP's project director, thus giving the Cylons access to the critical military project. Amorak is later abducted in an alley of Caprica City and is thus considered missing, leading to the promotion as the Cylons planned (Battlestar Galactica: Origins 1).

Amorak later escapes from the Cylons on Caprica prior to the Fall of the Twelve Colonies (Battlestar Galactica: Origins 4). He later escapes from the Colonies to the Olympic Carrier, but is later presumed dead after Lee Adama and Kara Thrace destroy the ship (TRS: "33").[1]
