Colonel Tigh is a constant presence on Galactica's bridge, providing crucial support to Commander Adama during a variety of crises. He is a key figure in the command structure of the fleet, and he is often tasked with carrying out Adama's orders and managing the day-to-day operations of the battlestar.

He is on the bridge when the Galactica fights off a Cylon basestar, and works with Adama to coordinate the fleet's response, playing an instrumental role in the decision to send a patrol to investigate a nearby planet ((ComicsThe Law of Volahd, Part 1)).[1]

Tigh takes temporary command of the fleet after Adama collapses on the bridge. He oversees the investigation of the derelict alien ships and deals with the growing unrest among the crew ((ComicsPrison of Souls, Part 1)).[2]

Tigh also intervenes in a personal dispute between Athena and Cassiopeia on the bridge, after Cassiopeia confronts and slaps Athena over her relationship with Starbuck. Tigh steps in to de-escalate the situation, telling both women that the bridge is not the place to handle their personal issues ((ComicsHades Hath No Fury)).[3]

He is once again on the bridge during a crisis when the colonial settlement on Domia is attacked by mysterious creatures. He works with Adama to coordinate the rescue effort and to fend off the alien threat ((ComicsFire in the Sky)).[4]
