Renata is introduced as Commander Cain's executive officer of Pegasus when it encounters the The Fleet once more.

Her manner is described as "warm, almost subserviant [sic]" and "knows how to make men feel important". She and Apollo manage to start a relationship, in which he sees herself as her champion, but is horrified to discover that she is a new breed of Cylon that is half-human, half-robot.
