Following the Battle of Cimtar, he becomes responsible for Fleet-wide health concerns alongside his staff, including Cassiopeia.
After entering a manufactured universe of Iblis' design, an injured Adama is remanded to Salik's care and is puzzled at Adama's high brain activity while being summarily unconscious ((Comics: Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #1)).
