Zee is a sadistic scientist in the employ of the Cylon Empire from an alternate timeline, having betrayed humanity to extend his own existence through Cylon technology.

Denied the transformation that culminated in the cybernetic amalgamate Baltifer, Zee relies on an oversized Centurion for conveyance of not only his decrepit form, but also for the life system that keeps him alive (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #3.

In order to prolong his life and to serve the Cylon Empire, he has surviving humans from escaping ships and lost settlements, like Equellus, raided to populate his experimentation camps (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #3 & #4).

Despite Baltifer's displeasure of Zee, the sadist is able to reverse engineer a temporal drive from Starbuck's Temporal Viper, recognizing the technology as something he may have created—which is true, as more benevolent and child-like Zee had done so (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #1 & #5).

His fate after the Colonials seize Baltifer's baseship remains unknown (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #5).
