Additional Information
Thom in the separate continuity

Thom was an individual who vied for Athena's affections in their youth, and was the same age as Starbuck.

Starbuck decked Thom at age 12 for merely holding Athena's hand, which discouraged any future overtures. Furthermore, Apollo viewed Thom as a "creep," and is shocked when an alternate version of his father informs him that alternate versions of his sister and Thom married in said alternate reality ((ComicsClassic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #3)).
