This article has a separate continuity.
This article is in the Battlestar Galactica Deadlock separate continuity, which is related to the Re-imagined Series. Be sure that your contributions to this article reflect the characters and events specific to this continuity only.
For canonical information on this system, see: Twelve Colonies of Kobol.

Cyrannus is the quaternary star group where the Twelve Colonies of Kobol are situated (Battlestar Galactica Deadlock).

The star group consists of four distinct stars (each one being called, and prefixed by, "Helios"): Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta.

Helios Alpha

Main article: Helios Alpha

Helios Alpha was the first of the quaternary systems to be settled[1] following the exodus from Kobol approximately 2052 BCH.

Much of the Cylon rebellion that would blossom into the First Cylon War had been contained to both Helios Alpha and Beta systems in the conflict's early years.[2]

Caprica

For the canonical representation of this colony, see: Caprica.

Population: 4,904,659,642 (circa 52 BCH)

Capital: Caprica City

Daidalos Bonus: Economic

  • -40% Supply Costs
  • +20% Tylium from Fortified Colonies

Conflicts: Skirmish at Caprica Terminal, Battle at Caprica Terminal

Daidalos Bonus: Economic

  • -40% Supply Costs
  • +20% Tylium from Fortified Colonies

Conflicts:

Noteworthy Locales:

Uninhabited

The following are uninhabited, but are substantial locations where both Cylon fleets and Resource Missions are generated:

Helios Beta

Main article: Helios Beta

Helios Beta was the second of the quaternary systems to be settled[3] following the exodus from Kobol approximately 2052 BCH.

Much of the Cylon rebellion that would blossom into the First Cylon War had been contained to both Helios Alpha and Beta systems in the conflict's early years.[2] Prior to the commencement of the Cylon rebellion, both Leonis and Virgon were the primary economic and military powers of the Twelve Colonies.[3]

Leonis

For the canonical representation of this colony, see: Leonis.

Population: 2,603,775,606 (circa 52 BCH)

Capital: Luminere

Daidalos Bonus: Scientific

  • -10% Blueprint Costs
  • -1 Turn on Colonial FTL Cooldowns

Conflicts:

Noteworthy Locales:

Jupiter-class battlestar: Unknown

Virgon

For the canonical representation of this colony, see: Virgon.

Population: 4,350,231,088 (circa 52 BCH)

Capital: Boskirk

Daidalos Bonus: Military

  • -15% Officer Promotion Costs
  • -10% to Ship Build Costs

Conflicts:

Noteworthy Locales:

Jupiter-class battlestar: Unknown

Uninhabited

The following are uninhabited, but are substantial locations where both Cylon fleets and Resource Missions are generated:

Helios Gamma

Main article: Helios Gamma

Helios Gamma was the third of the quaternary systems to be settled[1][3][4] following the exodus from Kobol approximately 2052 BCH.

Beta's Leonis and Virgon fought the Imperial Wars across the three Gamma colonies of Libran, Sagittaron, and Scorpia circa 1852 BCH.[5]

Libran

For the canonical representation of this colony, see: Libran.

Population: 2,105,028,164 (circa 52 BCH)

Capital: None

Daidalos Bonus: Political

Conflicts:

Noteworthy Locales:

Jupiter-class battlestar: Unknown

Scorpia

For the canonical representation of this colony, see: Scorpia.

Population: 452,219,206 (circa 52 BCH)

Capital: Celeste

Daidalos Bonus: Military

  • -15% Officer Promotion Costs
  • -10% to Ship Build Costs

Conflicts:

Noteworthy Locales:

Jupiter-class battlestar: Archeron

Sagittaron

For the canonical representation of this colony, see: Sagittaron.

Population: 1,702,488,845 (circa 52 BCH)

Capital: Tawa

Daidalos Bonus: Political

Conflicts:

Noteworthy Locales:

Jupiter-class battlestar: Unknown

Uninhabited

The following are uninhabited, but are substantial locations where both Cylon fleets and Resource Missions are generated:

Helios Delta

Main article: Helios Delta

Helios Delta was the last of the quaternary systems to be settled[4] following the exodus from Kobol approximately 2052 BCH.

It contains both the Twelve Colonies' most and least populated colonies: Canceron and Aquaria, respectively.[4]

Aerilon

For the canonical representation of this colony, see: Aerilon.

Population: 1,203,728,969 (circa 52 BCH)

Capital: Gaoth

Daidalos Bonus: Economic

  • -40% Supply Costs
  • +20% Tylium from Fortified Colonies

Daidalos Bonus: Economic

  • -10% Blueprint Costs
  • -1 Turn on Colonial FTL Cooldowns

Noteworthy Locales:

Jupiter-class battlestar: Unknown

Canceron

For the canonical representation of this colony, see: Canceron.

Uninhabited

The following are uninhabited, but are substantial locations where both Cylon fleets and Resource Missions are generated:

Starlanes

Intersected between the various Helioses are planetoids in stable locations, which are FTL points and are considered the Starlanes of Cyrannus. None are deemed habitable by the Colonies as of approximately 52 BCH.

These planetoids are determined to be the least contested landmarks for jumps between Helioses, and become more critical supply lines for Colonial Fleet given the dismantling of the IDRIS network.

Other Astral Bodies

Outside of the typical Starlanes are these planets of note:
