Baltar is the trusted advisor of President Adama leading into the betrayal of the Battle of Cimtar.

As part of his betrayal, he orders his own aide, Apollo, killed (^{(Comics: Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #3)} & ^{(Comics: Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #5)}).

In the time that follows, Zee fuses Baltar to Lucifer, becoming a hybridized cybernetic entity called Baltifer (^{(Comics: Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #3)}).
