Commander Raynon is Galactica's former commander.
Before the destruction of the Colonies, Captain Adama and Lieutenant Tigh are officers under Raynon's command.
Tigh tells Adama that Raynon stressed the importance of their mission to Scorpia when Adama notes his negative views on the Scorpia way of life, and their over-dependence on artificial intelligence (Shuttle-Diplomacy!).
