Francis, called Frankie by Joseph Adama, is a Ha'la'tha soldier on Caprica circa 58 BCH (42YR).

He is present at Goldie's in Caprica City when Sam Adama bonds with young Willie Adama in the wake of the Maglev 23 bombing, telling Willie to "get a haircut" ^{(CAP: "Reins of a Waterfall")}.

Francis attends the ceremony to fully induct Joseph into the Ha'la'tha, and Sam's promotion to captain ^{(CAP: "The Dirteaters")}.

After the Adama brothers conspire to betray the Guatrau and ship Cylons to Tauron, Francis is sent to kill Joseph in his Little Tauron home. Being welcomed into Adama's apartment, Francis attacks Joseph behind, attempting to garrote him. As he struggles with Joseph, Adama's mother-in-law Ruth thrusts a meat cleaver into Francis' back, killing him ^{(CAP: "Here Be Dragons")}.
