The Mother is the leader of the religion in the Twelve Colonies of Kobol that worships the one true God, based in a mountain range on Gemenon.

She authorizes Obal Ferras to dispose of STO leader Clarice Willow given his belief that apotheosis is "blasphemy", but Willow manages to turn the assassination attempt back against Ferras. The Mother watches Ferras' death from a balcony before leaving, upset. She then meets with Willow and authorizes her to take control of all STO cells on Caprica so that the plan for apotheosis can be carried out. (CAP: "Unvanquished")
