Andreas Phaulkon is the leader of the government on the planet Tauron. He is described on the Caprica Network, and possibly in other Caprican media outlets, as a "playboy dictator." Sam Adama supports the rebellion against Phaulkon's government by sending them both money and guns, believing that the establishment on Tauron is corrupt and that the conflict represents a repeat of the Tauron Civil War that resulted in the deaths of his parents and the immigration of himself and his brother Joseph Adama to Caprica (CAP: "False Labor").
