Philomon is a technician who works for Graystone Industries. He is fascinated by the U-87, correctly ascribing a female aspect to the robot, and treating it with more courtesy, kindness, and compassion than his fellow technicians—notably Drew (Rebirth).
Zoe-R develops feelings for Philomon and, in the guise of "Rachel", makes a date with him in the V-World via a dating program called V-Match (Know Thy Enemy).
Notes
- Philomon has occasionally been referred to by Philo (even listed in the credits as such). Presumably, Philo is the short form of the name Philomon.
- The name Philomon may be a reference to Philemon, a Jungian spirit guide that takes the form of a winged man.
- From Philomon's Caprica V-Match account viewers learn that he is a fan of the Baxter Sarno and Gemanese monster movies. His hobbies include applied robotics, Quantum mechanics on the nuclear level and astrology.
