Additional Information | |||
The Gemini is a freighter in the Fleet.
Originally an ordnance freighter, she is escorted to Laura Roslin's caravan by three Viper Mark VIIs that have escaped the attacks (Miniseries).
Gemini is one of three freighters used as decoys in the Battle for the Tylium Asteroid (The Hand of God).
It is among the ships that join the Laura Roslin faction that secedes from the Fleet and jumps to Kobol (Home, Part I).
The ship remains in orbit over New Caprica and escapes with Galactica and Pegasus (Occupation).
Both Gemini and its companion make it through the passage to the algae planet on both the first and fifth jump (The Passage).

Notes[edit]
- "Gemini" is the ancient word for Gemenon. Why the ship's owners chose to use this ancient term (rather than the contemporary) is unclear. Cinematically, it is likely that the usage of "Gemini" is a nod to its Original Series counterpart.
