Serina is a lieutenant in Adama's Colonial Resistance in an alternate reality.

Following the death of Boxey on Caprica, Serina survives the Battle of Cimtar and joins Adama's resistance, rising its ranks and becoming one of the best known Viper pilots that they have (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #3).

A temporally displaced Apollo's appearance in the alternate reality renews both Serina and Boomer's drive, as they are more aggressive in their guerrilla efforts against the Cylon Empire. This cultivates in a trust between herself and Apollo in the three months following his arrival, despite an initial introduction that results in Apollo being thrown on his back and being called a "freak" for his comments relating to his Boxey and his departed wife, Serina (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #3#5).
