Kali is the creator of the robotic successors to her own race, the Cylons (Battlestar Galactica vs. Battlestar Galactica #5).
Cylons[edit]
Having created the machines and have convinced her government to support their production, she aimed to use the machines to conquer the galaxy and thus elevating the Cylons to godhood. However, her mate rejected this path for it was not, in his words, the Cylon way. Others agreed with her mate and fought against the robotic forms, leading to their reptilian makers being eradicated and their machines assuming the mantle of "Cylons" (Battlestar Galactica vs. Battlestar Galactica #1 & #5).
Exile[edit]
She left[1] the Cylon homeworld and ventured out into space, stumbling upon an unknown planet the featured a veritable array of technologies left behind by a long-dead civilization Battlestar Galactica vs. Battlestar Galactica #1.
As an effect of residing on the unnamed planet, she outlives her race by over a thousand yahrens and is able to learn to use the machines and technologies left to her (Battlestar Galactica vs. Battlestar Galactica #4).
Sometime during her exile, Iblis discovers her and they enter into a relationship. During their meetings, they devise a plan to penetrate another universe and take over the Cylons from that universe (Battlestar Galactica vs. Battlestar Galactica #4 & #5).
Using these technologies, she is able to create a wormhole that bridges two disparate parallel universes where mankind has been destroyed by robotic creatures called Cylons (Battlestar Galactica vs. Battlestar Galactica #1 & #4).
