Denied the transformation that culminated in the cybernetic amalgamate [[Baltifer]], Zee relies on an [[Zee's Centurion|oversized Centurion]] for conveyance of not only his decrepit form, but also for the life system that keeps him alive ({{comics|vol2|3}}.
As {{alt|Starbuck|TOS}} did not encounter {{alt|Adama|TOS||reality}} in the [[alternate reality]], Thom is able to cultivate a relationship with {{alt|Athena|TOS||reality}} during their mutual childhood, ultimately resulting in marriage.


In order to prolong his life and to serve the Cylon Empire, he has surviving humans from escaping ships and lost settlements, like {{alt|Equellus}}, raided to populate his experimentation camps ({{comics|vol2|3}} & {{comics|vol2|4|short=y}}).
According to Adama, Thom is killed on Caprica alongside his wife, and all he has to remember them by are both memories and images stored in a [[holocube]] ({{comics|vol2|3}}).  
 
Despite Baltifer's displeasure of Zee, the sadist is able to reverse engineer a [[temporal drive]] from {{alt|Starbuck}}'s [[Temporal Viper]], recognizing the technology as something he may have created—which is true, {{alt|Zee||as more benevolent and child-like Zee}} had done so ({{comics|vol2|1}} & {{comics|vol2|5|short=y}}).
 
His fate after the destruction of [[Baltifer's baseship]] remains unknown ({{comics|vol2|5}}).
