Part of the series on
Battlestar Galactica's Unnamed Characters

This page lists all characters in both the Miniseries and the first season of the Re-imagined Series who are unnamed.

Galactica crew

Officers

Launch Officer

The Launch Officer portrayed by Ron Blecker.

During the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, this launch officer oversees the deployment of Galactica's Viper Mark IIs, including "Joker" and Kara Thrace's launches (Miniseries, Night 1).

The Launch Officer was portrayed by Ron Blecker, military adviser to the miniseries.

These are crew members seen manning the Situation Room during the Battle for the Tylium Asteroid (The Hand of God).

Pilots

The following characters may be identical with any of the mentioned-only characters identified by call sign or name, listed in the list of pilots.

Nuggets

Eight nuggets are recruited in "Act of Contrition" to fill out the ranks, including Kat, Hot Dog and Chuckles. Five of them were not named.

The Fleet

Colonial One captain

Main article: Colonial One captain

The unnamed captain of the government-chartered starliner Colonial Heavy 798 (later renamed Colonial One) in the Miniseries.

The pilot was played by actor Barclay Hope. In the novelization of the Miniseries (which is treated as a separate continuity source), the unnamed captain is given a name: Captain Russo.

Colonial One co-pilot

The unnamed co-pilot of the the government-chartered starliner Colonial Heavy 798 (later renamed Colonial One) in the Miniseries.

The co-pilot was played by actor Guyle Fraizer. In the Miniseries novelization (which is treated as a separate continuity source), the character is given a name: Eduardo.
Humorously, in the DVD commentary for the Miniseries, Ron D. Moore and David Eick point out that Frazier is one of the best extras they have, but he got no speaking lines whatsoever for the role of the pilot. They jokingly quipped of the actor's non-verbal skill, in that the actor always looks as if he wants to say something while in the cockpit, but always thinks better of it and keeps silent.

Others

Armistice Officer

Main article: Armistice Officer

The Armistice Station Officer was assigned to the Armistice Station, where he would represent the Twelve Colonies to attempt their continuation of diplomatic relations between the exiled Cylons and humans.

The Armistice Officer was portrayed by actor Ryan Robbins, who later portrays Charlie Connor in several episodes of the third season.

Botanical Cruiser captain

The captain of the ill-fated Botanical Cruiser.

After beginning her assembly of a fleet of surviving civilian vessels, Laura Roslin talks to the captain of a Botanical Cruiser, assuring him that all his ship's vital needs will be attended to. However, he dies along with his crew and passengers, when the Cylons attack Roslin's nascent fleet (Miniseries, Night 2).

The captain was portrayed by Kwesi Ameyaw.

Caprica Doctor

Roslin's doctor delivers bad tidings before being nuked.

Before leaving for Galactica, Laura Roslin is given her terminal cancer prognosis by a doctor who apparently practices in Caprica City. He is presumed dead after a 50 megaton range detonation is inflicted during the Cylon attack (Miniseries, Night 1).

The role credited as "Caprica Doctor" was played by Tim Henry.

Caprica refugees

Main article: Caprican refugees

Among a larger group of refugees finding Karl Agathon's and Sharon Valerii's Raptor somewhere in the countryside near Caprica City, are a man who tries to bribe his way aboard, a forgetful older woman who almost misses that she won a ticket to leave, and a desperate man who futilely clings to the ship's hull as it takes off and is shot by Agathon.

Chantara's baby

Chantara's baby before he's slain by Caprica-Six.

Chantara's baby, a male appearing to be under 1 year of age, is slain by Caprica-Six after she breaks the child's neck. Caprica's reasons for doing so have never been revealed, although she tells the baby that he'll have no reason to cry for much longer, having likely already decided to kill him. As she walks away, she appears torn over having done that deed (Miniseries, Night 1).

Chantara's husband

Chantara's husband waves his wife over to his location.

Chantara's husband is seen shopping the Riverwalk Market a day prior to the fall of the Colonies. As Caprica-Six distracts Chantara as he attempts to wave his wife over, the Cylon uses the distraction to break his son's neck and walk away (Miniseries, Night 1).

Chantara's husband was portrayed by Michael Soltis.

Unnamed Lover

Caprica-Six ejects a lover in the bed of Gaius Baltar on the morning of zero hour. When the unnamed woman asks, "Gaius, who is this woman?", Baltar equivocates in his typical manner when he is caught in a lie. The woman gathers her clothes and leaves, and likely perishes in the Cylon attack minutes later.

The role, credited as "Blonde Woman" (although she is not blonde in the Miniseries) was portrayed by Moneca Delain.
