Vireem is a specialist serving on the battlestar Pegasus circa 1 ACH (2000BYR) and, later, Galactica.
Much to Galen Tyrol's and Karl "Helo" Agathon's discomfort, Vireem and and handful of other Pegasus crew members describe the gang rapes by Pegasus's crew of a captured copy of Number Six that called herself Gina Inviere. These rapes were apparently led and tacitly encouraged by the battlestar's "Cylon interrogator," Lieutenant Alastair Thorne.
Vireem indicates that Thorne is likely on his way to the cell where the Caprica copy of Sharon Valerii is held to sexually assault her as well. "Your little robot girl is in for quite a ride. Yee-haa!" says Vireem, drunk on moonshine created by Tyrol's still, located on the hangar deck.
Agathon appears ready to attack Vireem in anger when Tyrol stops him and persuades Agathon to join him to stop Thorne (TRS: "Pegasus").
In retaliation for Thorne's death, Specialists Vireem and Gage bind and begin beating the incarcerated Agathon and Tyrol in Pegasus's brig until Colonel Fisk catches them in the act and dresses them down (TRS: "Resurrection Ship, Part II").
After the destruction of Pegasus during the Second Exodus, Vireem joins the crew of Galactica.
In 4 ACH (2003BYR), following the discovery of the devastated Earth, he joins Felix Gaeta's mutiny against Admiral Adama as he helps Tom Zarek escape the brig (TRS: "The Oath").
His fate post-mutiny is unspecified.
