Zee is a protege of Galactica's Doctor Wilker, and developer of the temporal weapons reluctantly deployed by a desperate Commander Adama in the Nebula Ambush ((ComicsClassic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #1)).

Zee's is reputed for his abrasiveness and zeal that results in the irritation of those around him. Wilker explains Zee as a "an old mind in a young body" ((ComicsClassic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #1)).

Despite the feasibility of the temporal warper, Starbuck tells Zee that its use isn't worth the risk, leaving Zee sufficiently dejected ((ComicsClassic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #5)).
