Puppis is an oviner on his mother, Vella's farm, located upon the planet Equellus.

In the alternate reality, the Cylons forcibly cull Equellus in search of subjects for Zee's experiments. Puppis is separated from his mother and is marked for relocation in Zee's experimentation camps by Red-Eye, the leader of the invasion.

A temporally displaced Apollo leads members of the Colonial Resistance in an assault against Red-Eye's raiding party, saving Puppis, his mother, and fellow Equellusians from their Cylon fates. With these survivors, Puppis escapes to Cache so that they may to aid in the fight against the Cylons (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #4).
