Flattop is a salvage and repair ship in the Fleet, acting as a mobile spacedock. It is among the first ships to join the Fleet (Miniseries). Later Flattop is among the ships with Galactica when New Caprica falls (Precipice).

Notes

• "Flat top" is a slang term for an aircraft carrier (it is also a hairstyle).
• In the separate continuity of the Dynamite comics series, ships of the same design were used by the Caprican Expeditionary Fleet during the Third Colonial Conflict.
• The Flattop design in the Re-imagined Series is based on an Original Series ship design.
