Medusa's first appearance in Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #6. |
Medusa is the primary mental health officer aboard Galactica.
She finds herself the target of Starbuck's various attentions that she successfully rebukes, and later notes the increasing number of crew members aboard Galactica who experience vivid dreams of Earth (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #7). While such dreams are later found to be those projected by Xam (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #9, the various crises that follow also lead a worn-down Adama to confide in her that he wishes to step aside. Medusa assists him in finding a replacement commander, which are kept in mind following Adama's recovery and mental renewal that lead to the successful engagement of the battle known as Adama's Gambit (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #11).
