Boomer is a lieutenant in Adama's Colonial Resistance in an alternate reality.

Following the Battle of Cimtar, Boomer joins Adama's resistance, rising its ranks and becoming one of the best known Viper pilots that they have. As with other Resistance members, he adorns himself with armor components from destroyed Centurions, namely Centurion vambraces and gauntlets (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #2).

He is part of the ground team on Cache who captures both temporally displaced Apollo and his crash-landed Temporal Viper, presenting both to a shocked Adama (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #3#3).

Initially hostile towards Apollo, Boomer later befriends him during the three months following Apollo's integration into the Colonial Resistance (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 2 #4).
