Flattop is a salvage and repair ship in the Fleet, acting as a mobile spacedock. It was among the first ships to join the Fleet (Miniseries). Flattop would later be among the ships that were with Galactica when New Caprica fell (Precipice).

Other Sources

In the separate continuity of the Dynamite comics series, ships of the same design were used by the Caprican Expeditionary Fleet during the Third Colonial Conflict.

• "Flat top" is a slang term for an aircraft carrier (it is also a hairstyle).
