The assault on Maytoria during the Battle of Cimtar leaves Rel without either wife or daughter, thus leading into often violent, revenge-seeking acts.
He discovers that Boomer is wearing some sort of Cylon tracking device that has revealed the last hiding place for his beleaguered people, and quickly believes the Colonial Warrior to be a willing traitor until Stadra Ah Mun talks sense into him (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 1 #2).
