Mendrix is the dictator of the planet Zaroak.
He has formed a secret alliance with the Cylons, allowing them to use his enslaved people to work in mines in exchange for power. When Apollo's survey team arrives, Mendrix orders them captured and put to work in the mines. He is later murdered by his Cylon commander ally for his cowardice during a battle with the escaped Colonials (Comics: Look-In Magazine: Storyline 4).[1]
