For information on the Original Series ship, see Gemini (TOS).

The Gemini is a freighter in the Fleet.

The Gemini was an ordnance freighter that is escorted to Laura Roslin's caravan by three Viper Mark VIIs that had escaped the attacks (Miniseries).

Gemini is later one of three freighters to be used as decoys in the Battle for the Tylium Asteroid (The Hand of God).

Gemini would later jump away with the rest of the Laura Roslin Faction to Kobol (Home, Part I)

The ship would later remain in orbit over New Caprica and later be with Galactica and Pegasus (Occupation)

Both Gemini and its companion would later make it through the passage to the Algae Planet on both the first and fifth jump 9The Passage).

Notes[edit]

  • "Gemini" is the ancient word for Gemenon. Why the ship's owners chose to use this ancient term (rather than the contemporary) is unclear. Cinematically, it is likely that the usage of "Gemini" is a nod to its Original Series counterpart.
